The rest of my weekend cards

Here are the final cards I did last weekend!

The first is another try at the Christmas Theme for November. I used the Tag Star Punch on this one as well, and did my first ever Criss-Cross card. It was a blast!

Supplies:

CS: Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White, Vellum, Holiday V Slab Provo Craft

Ink: Real Real (stamped off on the flower)

Stamps: Background (on star flower) from Delight In Life, Two step flower from Simply Said

Other: Round Tab Punch, Tag Punches, Corner Rounder, Red Grograin, Crimper, Pearls, Stapler (for tab cut-out)

I used this card for my Mom's Birthday, but I think I might use it for my group swap Female Birthday card as well. I'm not sure I really like the sketch challenge chosen, so I'll just stick with the theme on this one. I'll have to use my Celery DSP if I do though for everyone!

Supplies:

CS: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Wasabi DSP (hostess)

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Stamps: Flower from Priceless, Sentiment from Sincere Salutations

Other: Always Artichoke Brad, White Grograin, Corner Rounder, 1/16 in. punch

And this one I'm so totally in LOVE with! I love the bright colors and just the fun factor! I saw this in my mind after seeing the Criss-Cross Tutorial and had to just do it. I have no one in mind for this card, really I think I just want to keep it! I wouldn't have enough of the die-cut blooms for my whole group in those sizes so it won't be a swap card, but it was so much fun! Someone really special will get this...maybe! I had ordered this DSP and the flowers from the Mini catalog in June and I finally dug into it. I swear I've had no time this summer! :)

Supplies:

CS: Real Red, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Old Olive, Summer Picnic DSP

Ink: None

Stamps: None

Other: Round Tab Punch, Die-Cuts Blooms, Blue Stiped Grograin, Stapler

My demo had an open house on the 12th and we finally got our orders from the new catty! I had to get the Pink and the Baja new In Colors, I'm so excited to play with them this weekend!

Scrapbook Pages

Alright, I have a bunch of scrapbook pages that I've never uploaded. I'm finally starting to get everything posted here and at SCS. I am so far behind on scrapping, but hopefully I can get more caught up this winter! I tend to make the same pages for each of the kids when they have the same pictures for holidays, or shared events, so here are some that I've finished in the last couple of months.

Golf Pages! These are for a Scrapbook Sketch Challenge SBSC145 on SCS. This was my first ever scrapbook sketch challenge and I think it will take time before I like what I turn out with. The ideas are so great, but I found I had a harder time incorporating everything!

Supplies:

CS: Metallic Kiwi, Scrapin Sports "Golf" DSP (double sided), Charcoal Rustic Plaid (reverse plain side) Paper Patch

Other: Jolee's Boutique "Tee Time", Green and white brads, ribbon, "Fore" George Cricut Cartridge, Round Tab Punch

These two Cheer Pages are another Scrapbook Sketch Challenge SBSC16 on SCS. This really wasn't my style, but I was happy with how everything turned out on this!

CS: Navy Blue The Paper Co., Night of Navy, Pebbles Inc. Twilight Mini Gingham

Other: My Minds Eye Horray Set, All Mixed Up Cricut cartridge on C, silver cord, white brads, star buttons, red buttons, ticket corner punch, 1/16 in. punch, glue dots

These are the same in each kids' book, but the pictures are so similiar that I'm not putting both sets on here. I didn't jot down the products used on this one, so I'm going off the top of my head.

CS: Halloween paper unknown, Gable Green, Whisper White, Black, Close to Cocoa, Green Galore, Only Orange

Other: Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge, Black Ink streaked on edges, black brads, Word Window punch, Whisper White Ink on tombstones

Another set that is very similiar! Only one pic different from the two books so here is just one set.

CS: Daisy Bucket Designs, Spotlight and Fan Club DSP, Night of Navy, Whisper White

Other: Stamped bottom border Star from Love It, Navy and Real Red Ink, George Cricut cartridge letters and stars, gingham and real red grograin, red star eyelets, white brads, silent setter

Oops, another that I don't have the details. My parents got the kids guitars a few Christmases ago. (Yes I'm way behind.)

CS: Rockstar DSP, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Taken With Teal

Other: Rockstar Rub-ons, staples, crimper, brown ribbon, crimper, Brown ink streaks, George cricut cartridge

Supplies:

CS: Rockstar DSP, Pixie Pink, Silver

Supplies: Gray ink for streaking, crimper, stapler, silver ribbon, Rockstar rub-ons

Another that I hadn't noted what I used.

CS: Holiday Slab V DSP, Bashful Blue, Always Artichoke, Silver, Whisper White

Other: Christmas Cheer cricut cartridge, All Mixed Up cricut cartridge, silver cord, square corner punch

Sketch Challenges and Swap Cards!

This summer has just gone by so fast! I find I tend to do more scrapping and stamping during the winter since we aren't out that much like we are in the summer, so hopefully I'll post more here.

The stamp group I'm in is getting ready to start up again so I'm starting to get more stamping in which is good. I'm so excited for my newest stamp order and to play with the new colors. Our stamp group decided to do a card swap this year, too. I've done several others in old groups, but this is the first time for my new one. Our demo decided we should use sketch challenges from SCS to help the newbies out. So we have a theme each month along with a sketch she choose. She wanted to do fairly easy ones since only me and one other person have stamped before.

Alright, with all that said, here are the cards I've been working on! I don't know if I will use these, or try coming up with a few other ideas before I decide on my swap cards.

September
Theme: Halloween/Fall
SC29

After I secured the twill tape and tied the ends I pulled and frayed the very ends of the tape.

Supplies:

CS: Pumpkin Pie, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Vanilla

Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip

Stamps: Fall Whimsy

Other: Watercolor Pencils, Blender Pens, Twill Tape, Linen Thread, Hodgepodge Hardware Brass Brads, 1/16 inch hole punch, 1 1/4 circle punch

October
Theme: Male Birthday
SC60

This turned out really simple, but I think it works since its for a male birthday card. I guess you really can't see the 'Happy Birthday' but its along side of the cake. Too bad I didn't stamp it straight! :)

Supplies:

CS: Certainly Celery, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue, Whisper White

Ink: Certainly Celery, Not Quite Navy

Stamps: Birthday Whimsy

Other: Celery grograin, S clip, silver brads, 1/16 inch hole punch

November
Theme: Christmas
SC57

I've been wanting to try the Tag Punch Star on a card and finally tried it today. It was very simple and I love how it stands out on the card. This is one I still want to work on. I'm not entirely happy with this one. It doesn't quite match the sketch challenge, but close enough right?!

Supplies:

CS: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Vellum, Bashful Blue DSP

Ink: Night of Navy, Versamark

Stamps: Snowflakes, Peace from a Michaels set

Other: Rhinestone jewels, White embossing powder, Tag punches, heat gun, 2 way glue

The next cards are two that I had for more birthdays. I still have to make a card for my Mom (oops, I lost track of time!) and get them in the mail!

The first card is for a friend. I hope she has received it already so this isn't too big of a surprise before she sees it!

Supplies:

CS: Regal Rose, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Cutie Pie DSP

Ink: Certainly Celery, Brocade Blue, Regal Rose, So Saffron

Stamps: Eat Cake

Other: Celery Grograin, Mat Pack, Pewter Buckle from Hodgepodge Hardware, 1/16 hole punch, celery, saffron and rose brads, flowers on cake cut out from another sheet of the dsp

And my Dad's birthday card! I really messed up the horizon, but I was still happy with how it turned out. I was trying to depict my Dad and us kids!

Supplies:

CS: Whisper White, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip

Ink: Black, Watercoloring - creamy caramel, close to cocoa, summer sun, brocade blue, bashful blue, handsome hunter, old olive, so saffron, chocolate chip, apricot appeal, barely banana, regal rose, elegant eggplant, not quite navy

Stamps: Seaside Sketches

Other: Ribbon unknown, linen thread, crystal effects (on the water), watercoloring pens
